This is the second study
Bullinger wrote on this topic, appearing in 1916 in Part II of
How to
Enjoy the Bible. The first study appeared in 1915 as a
pamphlet and has been republished by the OBT as a booklet
entitled
The importance of accuracy in the study of Scripture. This
second study may not be an 'easy read' for some but we hope it
will help the reader to appreciate why Bullinger’s scholarship and attention to detail is still valued by many today.

In working through John's Gospel we have attempted to:-
-
Show clearly who Jesus Christ is;
-
Show clearly that faith in Him secures
forgiveness of sins and eternal life;
Help the believer grow in faith, love and knowledge.
It is suggested that you read a chapter of
John's Gospel and then try to answer the questions on that
chapter. If you have any difficulty in answering, aids and hints
are giving in parentheses after the question, but answers are
given in Michael Penny's
The Manual on the
Gospel of John, also available from the OBT.
