Many have noticed that ‘God’ is not once mentioned in the Book of Esther. None-the-less, on every page His hand is seen and His providence manifested.
However, the silences of God’s Word, like its utterance, are full of instruction, and E W Bullinger has found much teaching in the absence of Jehovah’s name from this Old Testament book.
He has also brought out the fact that the name Jehovah is in the Book of Esther. It occurs a number of times, but on each occasion it is hidden away in an acrostic.
