We were tempted to change the title of this booklet from its original to The Unveiling of Jesus Christ because, as the author rightly points out, the great theme of Revelation is "The Unveiling of Jesus Christ". Indeed, "revelation" means revealing, making something known, unveiling.
However, the title of the last book of the Bible is so well known that it now stands on its own and many believers have forgotten that it is "The Revelation of Jesus Christ", "The Revealing of Jesus Christ", "The Unveiling of Jesus Christ". It is a book about the unveiling of Jesus Christ, not a book about the future.
The author did write a 600 page typewritten manuscript giving a detailed commentary on Revelation. Unfortunately this was never properly published, although some bound copies of the typewritten manuscript were produced.
However, we bring you Mr. Campbell's little work on "The Unveiling of Jesus Christ", which contains a synopsis of his main points, with the prayer that many will find his insights uplifting to their faith in Christ and their belief in the Scriptures. |
