In this publication the author has dealt with what he considers to be "the most important thing in the world" for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, namely the application of love among Christians expressing itself in unity.
However, he distinguishes between the unity of faith and the unity of the Sprit. The former has yet to be experienced, while the latter is a gift which we have already received and which we should guard.
The basis for the unity of faith may be knowledge, but that for the unity of the Spirit is love.
