Theo Todman was born in 1953 in Singapore to British parents, with whom he returned to Doncaster, Yorkshire soon thereafter. He attended The Crypt Grammar School, Gloucester, before going up to King's College, Cambridge, where he read Mathematics. He has recently retired from a career in investment banking IT in the City of London. He has developed an interest in analytic philosophy and won the C.E.M. Joad prize at Birkbeck College, London University, where he hopes to complete a PhD in the philosophy of Personal Identity sometime soon. He lives with his wife and two adult children in Billericay, Essex.
