This well-designed publication can be used either for personal study or for group study: in all there are nine studies. The first is a general one, with various questions relating to all seven churches and letters.
The bulk of the study booklet then follows the same pattern. For each church some background in given and then five or six questions are asked. Readers, or groups, are asked to consider these questions before turning the pages and comparing their answers with the ones given.
The last section has four tables to help readers compare what has been said to the seven churches. And the final page seeks to apply what has been learnt to 21st century churches.
