Ephesians 1:3-14 opens with a eulogy, a paean of praise, for the Apostle Paul calls us to praise the Father as we contemplate the blessings that are ours in Christ Jesus.
In what follows where we are told that we have been "chosen", "predestined", "adopted as sons", "redeemed", "forgiven" and "marked with a seal which guarantees our inheritance".
No wonder we are to praise our heavenly father.
