This book starts off at the end of the Acts Period when, at that time, there were two distinct groups – Jewish Christians and Gentile Christians. But then God gave a Paul a revelation to say that these two groups had been made one, that the Law had been abolished and that Jewish Christians and Gentile Christians were not only one, but they were equal. So what happened in those intervening years: from the end of Acts to AD 70, when Jerusalem and its temple were destroyed by the Romans?
However, the bulk of this book deals with the years after that, after what it calls, “The Catastrophe of the Year 70”. Slowly there was the formation of the so-called “Universal Church” and the expansion of Christendom, and much useful information is given on these two aspects.
There are also good sections concerning the present situation and churches today. And, finally, there is an informative appendix dealing with the development of antisemitism within Christendom.
