Charles Ozanne

Charles Ozanne was born in Crowborough, Sussex, in 1936. He read Theology at Oxford before undertaking research in the book of Revelation for his PhD at the University of Manchester under F. F. Bruce. He then worked as an editor for the Paternoster Press for a number of years, before teaching English as a foreign language in Oxford.

 He and his family then moved to Guernsey where he continued his research and writing. He was a prolific author, having written 40 books and booklets. His great love was prophecy and the Old Testament prophets, but he also had quite an interest in biblical chronology, numerics and structures.

 His major works include a commentary on Daniel entitled “Empires of the End-Time” and and “Understanding the New Testament: Matthew to Revelation”, which included a structure for each New Testament book.

 Sadly, he fell asleep in Christ in 2020 following a battle with motor-neurone disease.
