Collection: Denis Wheadon

Sadly Denis Wheadon is no longer with us. He was born in Dorset, in 1931. He was educated at Foster's Grammar School in Sherborne and later trained as a commercial artist and industrial designer.

He did his national service in the RAF and on leaving worked in the education department of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority for some years. However, he left to go to theological college and was ordained in 1954.

He was a regular broadcaster on Two Counties Radio with Pause Awhile from 1983 to 1991, and owned a Christian Hotel, giving daily Christian ministry. That ministry, his radio broadcasts and his writings all have a devotional slant, with him seeking to find application in the passages under consideration to help and encourage his listeners and readers.
