In the Old Testament we have two Hebrew words to describe God. The first one occurs in Genesis 1:1 and is Elohim, used of the great, creator God. The second is Jehovah, the caring God with respect to humanity. Combining these two we get a picture of God as the all-powerful caring creator.
In the New Testament we have God depicted as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, but how can we combine these three to get one picture of God?
