W M Henry

William Henry was born in Glasgow in 1949. He worked in the accountancy profession for many years before entering academia where he spent  around 25 years in teaching and research. After taking early retirement, he worked for a further 5 years as a freelance academic consultant teaching, supervising and programme organising at several Scottish universities.

As a member of the Scottish Baptist Lay Preachers Association, he conducts services and preaches at a variety of churches. He also works with Street Pastors, where he is Prayer Pastor Co-Ordinator.

He was part of the teamed that formed the Open Bible Trust in1984 and at present is a Trustee of the Open Bible Trust,

He has written several books and many booklets and has spoken at conferences in the UK, Canada, Australia and the Netherlands.
