God's work of salvation is centred on the redemptive work of Christ, the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world.
His salvation is imputed to us when we acknowledge we are sinners and when we believe that Christ died for our sins. Just what God accomplished for us in Christ at salvation, and how He did it, is worthy of much contemplation.
