Philippians 1:23 contradicts Philippians 3:20! But does it?

I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ.

Philippians 1:23

But our citizenship is in heaven. 

And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 3:20

Is Paul confused here, saying in one verse that he wants to depart to heaven and then saying he is waiting for the return of Christ? The problem lies in Philippians 1:23 where there is a contronym.
